Through a partnership between Hillsborough County Community College and Hillsborough County Public Schools eligible high school students are able to take up to three college courses per college semester. Grades from the classes will result in both high school and college course credits. The program, including textbooks, is completely free.

Robinson High School offers a dual enrollment elective course, SLS Student Success, each semester. The course is run on-site at Robinson High School three days a week in the mornings before high school classes begin. The course is taught by a Robinson faculty member. For more information students should contact their school counselor. College placement test scores are not required for this course, only an unweighted 3.0 GPA or higher.

Hillsborough County high school students must have an unweighted (state) GPA of a 3.0 or higher and meet college entrance exam requirements. Testing requirements can be met with eligible SAT or ACT scores, or students can sit for the PERT exam at Hillsborough Community College. Required forms from the local high school
After the student applies online to HCC as a dual enrollment student they must meet with their school counselor to ensure eligibility and obtain their Form B and copy of their student summary. They must do this before they can register for classes every semester. Students can obtain a Form B by contacting their school counselor before the paperwork deadline for each semester.
The completed Form B and Student Summary must be submitted to HCC by the paperwork deadline each term to allow for processing and the ensure meeting HCC's final registration deadline. Students who fail to meet the paperwork and registration deadlines will not be eligible for dual enrollment courses until the next term.

Course Registration
Once students have submitted their Form B and Student Summary they should monitor their HCC Hawkmail email account for further information about registration. High school counselors do not register students for dual enrollment classes.
